Stimulate the drive for creative research conducted with vigorous effort by young researchers and encourage them to grow into outstanding scholars by creating a stable research environment and maximizing their research capacity

Research areas: Humanities and social sciences (including arts and sports)

Eligibility: University faculty employed at the level of assistant professor or higher for at least 5 years, or researchers who obtained a doctoral degree within the last 10 years

Summary: Provide research expenses

Period: 1–3 years

Funding: Up to KRW 20 million (USD 18 thousand*) per year

 * approximation based on exchange rate of 1 USD = 1,100 KRW
