Support academic conferences to strengthen information and knowledge exchange among Korean and international researchers and stimulate their cooperation and competitiveness
Strengthen self-supporting competitiveness through support for journal publication and improve the diversity of academic studies through support for emerging and neglected areas
Consistently distribute online paper contributions and evaluation systems to academic societies to improve the objectivity and transparency of paper publication
Research areas: Humanities and social sciences (including arts, sports, and interdisciplinary studies)
Eligibility: Academic societies and university-affiliated research institutes that publish journals listed with the National Research Foundation of Korea
Support details
(Conferences) Support expenses for publishing collections of articles, venue fees, expenses for inviting international scholars, and expenses for performance dissemination
(Journals) Support expenses for publishing and distributing journals
Period: 1 year
Funding
(Conferences) KRW 20–100 million (USD 18–90 thousand*)
(Journals) KRW 1–15 million (USD 0.9–14 thousand*)
* approximation based on exchange rate of 1 USD = 1,100 KRW
