Present Korean educational support models and establish cooperative hubs in developing nations by fostering universities to lead international development and cooperation in their respective regions
Strengthen the ODA capacity of universities through the overall utilization of their resources, and promote cooperative development between Korean universities and their partner universities in recipient countries in order to meet local needs
Research areas: All areas in the humanities, social sciences, and S&T
Eligibility: Support available for national, public and private universities (including junior colleges), and university-university and university-junior college consortiums
Summary: Support the establishment and remodeling of academic departments and colleges in developing nations
Period: Total 4 years (2+2 years)
Funding: Approximately KRW 4 million (USD 3,600*) annually
* approximation based on exchange rate of 1 USD = 1,100 KRW
