Provide Ph.D. researchers with training opportunities at research institutions to ensure the continuous improvement of their research capacity in performing academic and research activities

Foster the development of outstanding Ph.D. researchers through providing support which will allow them to focus on their research at university-affiliated research institutes

Research areas: Humanities and social sciences (including arts and sports)

Eligibility: Doctoral degree holders scheduled to be employed as a full-time position at research institutes affiliated with domestic universities. Only for those with domestic citizenship in Korea.

Summary: Provide wages and institution subsidies

Period: 5 years (2+3)

Funding: KRW 40 million (USD 36 thousand*) per year

 * approximation based on exchange rate of 1 USD = 1,100 KRW
