Korea-EU Education Cooperation Program (EMJM)

Provide additional funding to Korean educational institutions that may be selected by the EU’s Erasmus+ EMJM* to strengthen exchange cooperation networks between Korea and the EU and address the student exchange imbalance
(* an EU joint master’s degree program)
Heighten the global standing of Korean higher education and strengthen globalization capacity
Research areas: All academic areas
Eligibility: Higher education institutions under Article 2 of the Higher Education Act
Summary: Provide support for expenses related to the exchange (dispatch) of students and faculty and research activities to develop educational courses, as well as operating expenses (employment of administrative staff, holding of events, etc.)
Period: 4 years
Funding: KRW 90 million (EUR 66.6 thousand*) per year
* approximation based on exchange rate of 1 EUR = 1,350 KRW
