Eligibility: University faculty (full-time, part-time) in S&E and researchers in national (public), government-funded and private research institutes

Summary: Support highly creative individual researchers to cultivate outstanding basic research capacity and lay the groundwork for growth into leading research fields

Period: 1 - 5 years

Funding: (Type 1) Annual average of up to KRW 200 million (USD 182 thousand*); (Type 2) Annual average of KRW 200–400 million (USD 182–364 thousand*)
