Cultivate the basic research capacity of researchers through individual-level research support and assist with the advancement and development of research

Research areas: All S&T areas

Eligibility: University faculty (full-time, part-time) in S&E and researchers in national (public), government-funded and private research institutes who obtained a doctoral degree within the last 7 years or who are aged 39 or younger

Summary: Stimulate researchers’ creative research drive and maximize their research capacity to train them as outstanding researchers

Period: 1 - 5 years

Funding: Annual average of up to KRW 100 million (USD 90 thousand*)

 * approximation based on exchange rate of 1 USD = 1,100 KRW
