In line with the EU’s Horizon 2020 R&D policy, promote participation by Korean researchers in joint research projects with the EU, thereby ensuring that European original technology is secured and Korean researchers possess enhanced research capacity

Research areas: All research areas under the scope of Horizon 2020

Eligibility: Korean researchers participating in Horizon 2020 as official partners

Summary: Provide support for expenses for small-scale joint research, expenses for overseas business trips

Period: 2–4 years (adjustable according to the EU research period)

Funding:  KRW 50 million (EUR 37 thousand*) annually per project

 * approximation based on exchange rate of 1 EUR = 1,350 KRW
