Support outstanding scholars in the humanities and social sciences with world-class research capacity to represent Korea, and disseminate outstanding research outcomes throughout society

· Program details

Research areas: Humanities and social sciences (including arts and sports)

Eligibility: Researchers affiliated with a domestic university or academic society who obtained a doctoral degree more than 10 years ago, or who have 10+ years of experience as an assistant professor

Summary: Provide research expenses

Period: 5 years (3+2)

Funding: KRW 50 million (USD 41 thousand*) per year, excluding overhead costs

* approximation based on exchange rate of 1 USD = 1,200 KRW
