Support joint research in areas of common interest following the 1st Korea-UAE Joint S&T Conference (Nov. 2018) to promote continued exchange projects between the two countries and foster Middle-Eastern research experts

Research areas: Clean energy, smart healthcare, smart transport platforms

Eligibility: Researchers affiliated with institutions and organizations under Article 14 (1) of the Basic Research Promotion and Technology Development Support Act

Summary: Provide support for direct costs and other overhead costs incurred in performing research

Period: 3 years

Funding: KRW 70 million (AED 212 thousand*) per project

 * approximation based on exchange rate of 1 AED = 330 KRW
