Korea-Canada S&E Graduate Student Exchange Program

Facilitate the research activities of young researchers by promoting the exchange of human resources between Korea and Canada, enhance their research capacity, and provide opportunities to conduct research overseas through participation in R&D projects at universities in both countries

Research areas: Computer science, earth sciences, engineering, life sciences, mathematical sciences, physical sciences, chemical sciences

 Eligibility: S&E MS or Ph.D. candidates or post-doctoral researchers in Korea

Summary: Provide support for the research exchange activities of graduate students and post-doctoral researchers

Period: 12-24 weeks

Funding: KRW 3 million (CAD 3,300*) for departure expenses, KRW 2 million (CAD 2,200*) per month for local living expenses, CAD 3,000 in subsidies from Mitacs for early settlement

 * approximation based on exchange rate of 1 CAD = 900 KRW
