Promote cooperation and development between both countries in the area of S&T by promoting Korea-Turkey bilateral joint research projects  

Support joint research in the five main areas that are expected to generate a synergistic effect through bilateral cooperation

Research areas: Bio/life science, materials engineering (including nanomaterials), ICT convergence studies (including big data/IoT/SW), environment/energy, smart cities

Eligibility: Researchers affiliated with institutions and organizations under Article 14 (1) of the Basic Research Promotion and Technology Development Support Act

Summary: Provide support for R&D expenses and expenses for activities related to establishing cooperative networks

Period: 1 year

Funding:  KRW 52 million (TRY 236 thousand*) per project

 * approximation based on exchange rate of 1 TRY = 220 KRW
