We are now living in the era of “technopolitics,” where technological advancements dictate national strength. Amid rapid global changes and intense competition, fostering R&D innovation and securing talent have become strategic imperatives for nations worldwide.

In our role as the visionary “steward” of academic and research ecosystem, the NRF strives to align with national priorities and government policies, leading the enhancement of R&D systems and the cultivation of creative talent.

To secure key technologies for advanced, high-value industries that will shape the nation’s future, we will systematically foster and support university-centered research clusters and hubs, driving innovation in the R&D systems.
